It appears there may be a little too long, but to be sure, check with the airline you fly with. The U.S. legacy carriers (United, AA, etc.) usually work space of 11×14x26 maximum delay and smaller airlines (Republic, Frontier, Mesa, etc) close 2 inches smaller, because the overhead compartments are smaller.
