It appears there may be a little too long, but to be sure, check with the airline you fly with. The U.S. legacy carriers (United, AA, etc.) usually work space of 11x14x26 maximum delay and smaller airlines (Republic, Frontier, Mesa, etc) close 2 inches smaller, because the overhead compartments are smaller.
